With experience at all stages of the talent development cycle, Axa's work is grounded in providing opportunities, encouraging possibility and nurturing potential.
After spending 8 years working as a talent agent and freelance casting director she moved on to head up education and learning departments in a variety of UK theatres and arts organisations, such as Platform Youth Hub, the Kiln, the National Theatre, the Young Vic and Talawa.
Over the last 5 years her work has shifted into widening access into drama school training while ensuring that the training is equitable, safe and progressive. She currently sits in the leadership team at RADA as Director of Access and Participation and on the board for the Unicorn Theatre and Uproot Productions.
In 2018 Axa setup We Are Bridge (WAB) with co-founders Anu Henriques, Claire Wilson, Jessica Straker, Lucy Pardee and Warda Mohamed. WAB exists to support new and emerging talent after their first screen credit, helping them to transition into sustainable careers within Film & TV. As well as working with talent, WAB also supports wider industry stakeholders to ensure legacy building and best practice.
As a manager, she centres trailblazing talent shaping the zeitgeist of popular culture. Her work is known for elevating and sustaining her clients craft while establishing a long term position within the creative industries.
